The National Eczema Association Receives ACAF Grant

The National Eczema Association (NEA) recently received a $432.44 grant check from the Jonathan A. Dahlgren Eczema Fund which is managed by the Allegany County Area Foundation. Julie Block, Chief Executive Officer of the NEA, said, “This grant money will help them to advance eczema research while providing our community with the information, resources and support to live well.”

This year the NEA focus continues to be:

  • Helping people nationwide to understand and manage their eczema;
  • Funding innovative research projects on the burden of disease such as pain, sleep and itch in atopic dermatitis;
  • Launching an advocacy program to facilitate easier access to health care and safe, affordable eczema treatments.
