Inez A. Hupp, 85, a longtime teacher in the Cuba Central School District, died April 23, 2002, in Olean General Hospital following a short illness.
Born Inez Crawford in Angelica, she was married to Joseph W., who died in 1989. They had been married 19 years.
Mrs. Hupp was a 1934 graduate of Wilsonian High School in Angelica and graduated from Buffalo State Teachers College in 1938. She also earned a master’s degree from St. Bonaventure University.
She taught in Glenfield from 1938 to 1942 and then taught home economics and homemaking at Cuba Central School, now Cuba-Rushford Central School, from 1942 to 1968, when she retired.
