The Angelica Booster Citizens Inc. Receives an ACAF Grant

Angelica Booster CitizensThe Allegany County Area foundation recently awarded a $500 grant to the Angelica Booster Citizens. David Haggstrom, president of the organization, reported that this grant money will be used to help purchase a desktop computer, scanner and some software which will help ensure the continuation of the Booster News publication.

The Booster News is a monthly community newspaper that has been published by the Angelica Booster Citizens since 1977. The Angelica Booster Citizens has its headquarters in The Little Building located on Main Street in Angelica, NY.

Tracy Cassidy is the current editor of the Booster News. She receives help from a small group of volunteers who help with advertising and circulation functions. You can find more information about the Booster News at

The Allegany County Area Foundation holds assets of over 8 million dollars. The endowed funds continue to grow in perpetuity to enrich and improve the lives of Allegany County people.
