Houghton, NY – The Allegany County Area Foundation is pleased to announce a $1,000 grant to The Genesee Rapids Baseball Program. Dr. Ralph P. Kerr, General Manager of the Genesee Rapids Baseball Team stated, “This money will be used to support the First Responders Recognition Day to be held on Sunday, July 2nd at 2pm when the Rapids play the Wellsville Nitros. Their season will begin in early June and will run through early August.
